The China-based Fuyao Group is set to become the largest auto glass supplier in the world after it’s Dayton, Ohio plant hits full capacity. They estimate that between 1500 and 2000 workers will be employed in what could be the most automated glass plant in the world.
In the next couple of weeks, Fuyao Glass America should start manufacturing. With it’s location in Ohio, the plant is in a strategic position near all of the major automotive vehicles are made in the United States.
How does Fuyao auto glass differ from other brands?
Fuyao has an advantage by having government certifications, such as the GB96565 in China, the DOT in America, SAA in Australia, and the ECE in Europe as well as International Quality Certifications. They have also worked with many of the leading vehicle manufactures in China, Australia, Europe, and America – gaining a well-rounded set of expertise in many different vehicles and auto-glass requirements.
They produce everything from bullet-resistant glass to automotive safety glass, including laminated glass, tempered glass, insulated glass, and encapsulated glass.
